So pointless and wasteful. I really don’t get destruction for destruction’s sake, but it seems like other people.
Sounds like you guys are getting rain in parts of the country , so hopefully not too many burning cars down where you are now. I hate to say it, since so much from the fires is so awful, but burnt cars look really cool when the aluminum bits melt:

That’s not aluminium. That’s melted spiders...and they’ll be fine.
As for everything else...burning cars is not helpful but worrying about other people's stuff is nonsense.

Very strange to see that. Thankfully that hasn’t carried over to the USA. I am sure we get a couple of torched cars but my guess is that since most everyone in the US has a car, there is a stronger connection to what cars represent from something earned to something someone really needs to get to work. Based on Wikipedia France at number 32 on the list has 478 cars per 1,000 people , US is more car dependent (my assumption ) at number 4 with 838 cars per 1,000 people. Technically San Marino is 1st on the list with 1263 cars per 1,000, but the whole country is 33,500 people. Monaco is 2nd at 899, per 1,000 and Australia comes in at #3 with 860 cars per 1,000 people. UK is 35 with 475 per 1,000. C ite https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_vehicles_per_capita
